My xbox connects to my laptop for xbox live with the firewall on but if i want to listing to music of my laptop through xbox i have to turn the firewall off because it says its not activated i have checked other forums and it says simply go to firewall settings and allow xbox 360 through firewall but i do not have this option.How to let my xbox 360 through my firewall?
Firewalls are for incoming connection requests to a server only. Not the other way around.
Since it's your XBOX that is requesting the connection to another server, it's your laptop that needs to be unblocked.
