Why cant i download the extra song packs for guitar hero 3 from xbox marketplace?

i want to download the foo fighter song pack and the warner one with the used and linkin park but when i try it says it couldnt retreive the information and to try again later but its been like that since i got the game, it also gives up different error codes for the two packs which i cant find anything about on the xbox forums. i have enough MS points so its not that causing it...anybody know what to do to download them?Why cant i download the extra song packs for guitar hero 3 from xbox marketplace?

if your problem was like mine, xbox live was experiancing problems last week and early this week.

Yesterday i went back to download a previously downloaded material that just instantly for no reason said could not retrieve info.

i was able to download it a few days later

so i reccomend to just wait.

if anything still doesnt give in, call xboxlive.

First, I think you need a hard drive with enough space on it. You click the song pack and press "purchase" or whatever it says. It should start downloading.



Also of note, Xbox live has been messed up since the holidays. Too many people got new Xboxes and they are still struggling to make the network capable of handling everyone. I had problems entering the marketplace at all for a while, but it has since settled down.
