Are XBOX 360 systems not reliable???

i was reading in the xbox forums and it seems so many people are having problems with their systems and theyre having to return them to microsoft to get it repaired. Some people are on their 3rd or 4th system as they keep breaking.



Im just wondering if these problems were mainly on the older builds. I really wanted a 360 but now im worried it might break in a month or so.Are XBOX 360 systems not reliable???
I haven't had a single problem with mine... the broken 360s seem to be a very vocal minority.
i have had mine since its launch and havent had any problems with it, i think the problems were mainly in the older boxes, if you get one i would suguest getting an intercooler with it, just in case it over heats.Are XBOX 360 systems not reliable???

There are not that many problems with the XBox 360. If you want to prevent all problems, get an intercooler for it!! The biggest problems have been that they overheat, because it is a computer. Cheap investment to save time and hassle.Are XBOX 360 systems not reliable???
ive had mine from the launch adn its never even laged a game i bought a inercooler with it so i recommend thatyou do the same if you buy one
I've had 2 system replacements and 1 repair, it's sort of a crap shoot.



At least they were nice enough to replace a game the system destroyed the 3rd time.
I got mine 5 months after the launch and still had problems with it. Microsoft didn't address the problem at all initially and I think that says something. You would expect them to have all the bugs worked out by now, but you never know...
I've had mine for 6+ months now and I haven't had a problem with mine, It's rare for one to break. Probably the only reason one doesn't work is because they're stupid and don't take care of their 360, or they're faking it and are PS3 Fan boys. The 360 is a great system and the failure rate on it is probably 2%.
The first run of 360's had a ton of issue with overheating. But the more recent ones have had very little problems with overheating. They also have a year long warranty on all 360's sold. I have had my 360 for over a year and have had nothing go wrong with it yet. They also sell inter coolers that go on the back of your 360, and help keep it cool.
